President John Samuelsen rips into MTA CEO Jay Walder

Appearing on Fox 5's Good Day New York this morning, TWU Local 100 Pres. John Samuelsen lit into Jay Walder for vacationing in the South of France while New York City's transit riders and transit workers face the "Summer from Hell."

TWU local 100 President John Samuelsen spoke with Good Day New York on Friday about the most recent round of MTA layoffs.

He says that since May about a thousand MTA workers have been given a pink slip. The list includes bus drivers, bus maintenance workers, train maintenance workers and station agents. On Friday, 202 workers turned in their ID Badges.
