PDM Sau Lee, 52, Dies of the Coronavirus

Power Distribution Maintainer Sau Lee, an easy going, hard-working member of Third Rail Operations, died of the Coronavirus on April 18, 2020. He had 21 years on the job, mostly at nights at Canal Street.  He was only 52 years old.

Word of his passing was received with scores of heartfelt comments on Facebook from his co-workers.  Here’s a sampling: “PDM Lee was an amazing friend and coworker. Rest in Peace my good friend and coworker. What an honor to have known you.” "Always kidded around with this guy.  What a hard worker.  My condolences to the family.” “Worked with him often. He was a truly pleasant person. Condolences to his family and his PD family. Sleep in Peace my friend!”

Other colleagues wrote, “Such an amazing person. The world took a big loss with this one.” “Damn it. He was a great guy and one of the easiest people to work with.”
