Kingsbridge Mourns Bus Operator Wayne Fingall, "Big Brother."

Kingsbridge Depot is mourning the loss of its “Big Brother;” beloved Bus Operator Wayne Fingall, 59, who was on the job nearly 20 years.

“Wayne always carried himself with class and dignity,” Depot Chair Richard Fields said. “Just the epitome of what a good Operator should be. A good friend to a lot of co-workers. He was always there to give advice to anyone who needed it. He was like a Big Brother to a lot of Operators.”

Phillip Pennyfeather, one of Fingall’s closest friends at Kingsbridge, said the “gentle giant” was just a great all-around individual: “He was a kind and giving person. He was always willing to do anything you asked him to do. He was a devoted family man, friendly, funny and trustworthy.”
